Family Care Centre

E-mail Print

Family Care Centre provides care for families of servicemen deployed to a mission area. The offered support varies substantially ranging from technical help in domestic matters, through nanny service to organising social events.

The Centre was activated for the first time during the Corps' first deployment to Afghanistan in 2007. During six months of its functioning, the Centre became an integral part of the Corps’ structure and a kind of a cultural centre. The Family Care Centre was suspended the moment the mission in Afghanistan was completed in August 2007. It was reactivated again on 19 November 2009 to assist the families of the servicemen who are going on the mission to Afghanistan in February 2010.
