Dear Visitors,
As the Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast, I would like to welcome you to the official website of the Corps. It is one of our media to communicate our goals, missions and activities to the wide public.
This website as well as all our activities revolve around several keywords upon which we build the future of this Corps. As a matter of fact, this is the Corps of the future. Having the honourable responsibility to command this Corps as NATO undergoes reforms, I can clearly see the role and character this Corps shall fit in.
Multinational partnership is the first of the keywords. Our goal is to continue setting a good example of efficient military cooperation. Our twelve-nation community is willing to share experiences with new partners to whom we always keep our gates open. Indeed, openness is the Corps’ next keyword. I would like to see new countries join in. We look forward to working with both new and old NATO members alike.
As for the military sphere, I would like to mention competency in the first place. This keyword entails the vast experience of the Corps’ personnel and know-how acquired in two missions in Afghanistan. It shall be combined with the pursuit of modernity and flexible adaptation to changing conditions. Implementing a more efficient work management along with technology solutions, exploring newly emerged concepts in NATO, and conducting continuous assessments of our competences and capabilities ensures our steady movement forward.
The keywords concept is a platform – militarily, geographically, politically, and culturally. Founded in 1999 by Denmark, Germany and Poland, Multinational Corps Northeast was intentionally located in Szczecin, Poland, a former member of the Warsaw Pact to facilitate the country’s integration into NATO. The Corps has remained the easternmost element of the NATO Force Structure in this part of Europe since then. Originally, three countries and at present as many as twelve, have created a common ground for cooperation, earning the Corps a military and political respect. We have gone even further building our platform as a family, learning about our traits, values, history, our customs and habits to establish a new quality.
This is how I perceive the enormous potential of this Corps. I do believe that as long as we translate the keywords and our engagement into practice we are able to successfully meet any requirements a modern army may face nowadays.
In closing, I would like to invite you to accompany us in our daily work and visit the MNC NE website as often as possible.
